Our team provides clinical psychological and neuropsychological evaluations of behavioral and mental health issues across the lifespan including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and learning problems.
Neuropsychology:
A neuropsychologist is an expert in how brain injuries and conditions affect your behavior, mood and thinking skills. They perform neuropsychological evaluations to assess how your brain and mind are working and suggest treatment plans.
Autism Assessments
An Autism diagnosis covers a spectrum of children with a wide range of skills and impairments. Because of this, the developmental disorder can look very different from child to child.
Psychoeducational Testing:
A psycho-educational evaluation is a comprehensive assessment of a student's cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional functioning. These evaluations are used to determine if a student is eligible for special education.
Gifted Student Assessment:
Achievement Testing: Measures how well a child demonstrates learning in academic subjects and tests basic skills such as the ability to decode words, fluency in reading and arithmetic, math problem solving, reading comprehension, writing skills, etc.
ADHD:
A thorough ADHD diagnosis includes symptom tests and interviews, plus a through medical history and evaluations for conditions commonly diagnosed alongside ADD. To diagnose attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), healthcare providers must also rule out other conditions that can cause similar symptoms.
Chronic Pain:
Chronic pain is accompanied by an array of factors to take into consideration when treating patients. Treatments should include an initial assessment followed by regular individualized and comprehensive reassessments.
